Exclusive Interview with ARTELL aka B-ROCKK

BKRY-Introduce yourself to the world.

Whats up peoples!! This ya man ARTELL aka B-ROCKK for those of yall who don't know.

BKRY-Where you from? What's the average day like in your hometown?

Im from Roosevelt, NY .. a small town on Long Island in Nassau County. A average day in the Velt could depend, I might hit the block wit a few of the homies , or hit the park and see whats shaking up there.. try to get in the studio and lay down a few songs, or just on the grind trying to make a few extra dollars ya know.

BKRY - What have you been up to lately?

Lately I have been working on a few projects that I have just started releasing through S.U.R.E. Records Music Group in Germany, along with my label, ARTELL Music Group/A.R. Recordz. I just dropped a follow up single to my EP " Long Island Stand Up". The single is titled "LEAVE" prod. By P-God from Big City Productions. I'm gonna be releasing another single in like late Jan. called 100 Rockk'n Barz , which is produced by my man Mr. G from Baltimore, Md.

BKRY- What makes you the next up?

I feel I'm next up because My music has substance and speaks for itself. Most of all you can relate.

BKRY - Do you have any mixtapes out? When will you be releasing another?

Yea , I got a mixtape out right now , "Back 2da Basics" Hosted by DJ Mello. Its available online.. Im also bout to drop another mixtape titled "UnderRated" you can look for that real soon as well.

BKRY-How do you feel about the current state of Hip Hop?

I feel like hip hop will never die, it only evolves and its coming back to what it used to be , but with a new twist on things , at the same time putting that emphasis back on the lyrical content that it has missed for so long.

BKRY-The music game is saturated. Describe your style and why there is room for your music.

My style is straight to the point!! No fuckery or beating around the bush.. Lyrical, conceptional, and heart felt!! There's always room for that..

BKRY- What's a studio session like with B Rock?

My sessions are pretty much structured . and short depending on how many songs I'm recording. I usually have everything ready when I go there, cause these are paid sessions. But I usually get my head right, while going over what ever it is I'm recording, then I just go in and lay it down. Simple as that.

BKRY- Anything you want to say to everybody?

Thanks to everyone who supports what I do and what I'm trying to achieve. And special thanks to all who doubted me and never thought I had a chance.
